I never did blogged about my Genting trip that I had in end March that ended in a tragedy somewhat. I was at Starbucks with Miss J one fine night and we were just chatting about going up to Genting and seeing that Matta fair was approaching then, she decided to head there to see if she could book us rooms for free but by using her Genting Points (GP).
Her friend, Ed, somewhat self-invited himself to our trip. Let's just say, he and I didn't start off well on the right footing the first time we met and even the second time IMHO! He kept poking fun at me in a somewhat insulting manner or so it felt and he tends to be rather brash in his manners. But that's just Ed.
In Genting, I got to see his other side. If he regards you as his friend and if you are ever in trouble etc. he is the kind of guy who is probably dependable and will be there for you. Somewhat. You just got to look behind his brash exterior.

I thought that Miss J and I would be partying the night away at Safari Club or multiplying our limited funds but we headed back to our hotel room pretty early as Ed was tired. He didn't want to be alone in the hotel, so, we had to kind of "teman" him. Miss J and I was chatting away when he kept making disgruntled noises and we got the subtle hints and nodded off to dreamland.
It was rather funny as he ended up being fussy and more the girl than we were. =p

View of Genting Themepark from our Resort Hotel room.
I love taking pictures of landscapes and scenery.
Our room at Resort Hotel!
The toilet is nice. Definitely nicer and MORE spacious than First World Hotel, that's for sure!
I fancy this kind of shower head with the water cascading straight down onto your head,
like the rain and oh the wonderful pressure!!

The dodgy cupboard with no lock and has dual side doors, one from the toilet leading out into the room. So, you better be sharing the room with people you can trust not to be cheeky enough to be peeping Toms. =p If not, who knows?? Your nude photos might end up somewhere in cyberspace.
We checked out of our hotel and headed to my car which was parked in Resort World Hotel's car park to drop off our bags. When we reached my car...
This was the sight that greeted us.
Smashed passenger side window.
Strangely enough, the intruders did not take my Touch 'n' Go card nor the cash sitting there in plain view nor Mr. C's original Air Supply CD. However, they helped themselves to my stack of burnt cds of songs. That's just odd.
I had to make a police report. To cut the long story short- made a report at the lobby which lead us to the police station to make a formal report where they jerked us off for a bit whilst we combat hunger pangs and their ineptness, we charged back to Resort Hotel to make a fuss leading to the three of us enjoying high tea for free. and satisfying our rumbling stomachs somewhat. After our meal, we made our way back to home sweet home.
However, it cost me RM150 to get a new window. I really wish to know why my car and why the stack of burnt cds??!!
