Wedding Day Details Not To Miss~Part Two; The Entrance
Why? No matter where you wed, first impressions are essential. A personalized entryway will make your site more welcoming and help guests feel at home almost immediately. An entry way that has some detail, gives guests an idea as to what is in store for the remainder of the event. It tells them that their presence is important.
How to do it? If you're having an outdoor wedding, hang leis of orchids or sun-catching glass ornaments on the surrounding trees. Paper luminaries lining the walk way make your path special. Framed or matted photos of the bride and groom hanging from lower tree branches can also guide guests towards your event. For a ballroom, have your florist create a tall floral arrangement for your escort card table. It will be the first thing guests see as they enter your reception area. A rustic affair calls for tons of lanterns lining the pathways, or hanging from tree branches.
