Wedding Day Photographer and Florist Assistants

Is is a good idea to assign either one or two helpers to assist with possible needs of the photographer and the florist, when they arrive to the wedding or reception site. The photographer's helper needs to be familiar with both sides of the family. They can expedite the family photos by letting the photographer know who's who and having them around the photos.

The person assigned to help the florist, can assist with getting flowers to family members who need them (leis, corsages, boutonnieres, etc.), as oftentimes the bridal party and family members can be in various locations getting ready for the ceremony to begin.
