Guest Book Attendants~Gift Table Attendants

It might seem rather basic, but this responsibility is an important one. It is a good idea to assign someone to set up and/or man the guest book table. These people will be guarding gift cards that can potentially hold a lot of money. When the card basket is full, they should take the cards to a responsible person, such as the Mother of the Bride, so that she can put them somewhere secure, perhaps in the trunk of a car. A large zip lock bag is convenient to hold the cards once they have been removed from the basket. The people you assign will also watch over the gift table, to make sure the wedding gifts are safe. Yes, hard to imagine, but sometimes even wedding gifts are stolen!

The people you assign to these tasks should be responsible, organized and reliable. They will attend the guest book, make sure cards are firmly attached to the gifts, gather any gift cards, check in guests and inform them of any other pertinent information. Provide them with a chair on which to sit and clear tape for attaching any loose gift cards.
