One of the most helpful wedding tools is a checklist for every aspect of your wedding plans – great for brides who like to be organized and are list makers! We thought we’d give you a sample of one of the most important lists, the one for the ceremony! Check off the items at they are completed and be confident that you’ve done everything needed!
Ceremony Planning Checklist
- Make appointments to meet with sites, coordinators, and/or officiants.
- Visit potential ceremony sites.
- Reserve location for date of wedding.
- Send signed contract and deposit for ceremony site.
- Choose and ask attendants.
- Book officiant.
- Reserve any necessary rental equipment.
- Schedule rehearsal.
- Schedule any necessary meetings/counseling sessions with officiant.
- Make arrangements for ceremony music.
- Make arrangements for floral decorations.
- Make arrangements for any other decorations for ceremony site.
- Consult local clerk’s office regarding marriage license, requirements:
- How far in advance do you need to and are able to obtain license?
- What jurisdiction license needs to be from? (where you’ll be married or where you live)
- Witness requirements
