After last weekend's weather with 30 mph wind gusts, we were just about ready for anything! Only today was absolutely perfect! No wind, no clouds, just warm September sunshine and a wedding day that could not have been any more wonderful!
Linsey and Dustin's backyard wedding was attended by over a hundred of their closest friends and family members. Linsey had planned for this day for a long, long time. She created the wedding programs, made special notes for each guest (tucked under their dinner plates), and collected several hundred dinner and dessert plates in at least a hundred different patterns.
It was so unique and adorable! As I arrived, I just kept saying, "Oh my gosh!" over and over again. It was that cute! Fresh potted flowers lined the center of the long tables, placed atop lengths of monogrammed burlap table runners, and a variety of antique lanterns hung from the strings of tiny white lights that reached from the fence to the house. Guest's table assignments were placed in the slots of a window shutter, and cold beverages were placed in a fishing boat that leaned up against the house. What a clever and easily accessible way to provide refreshment that never needed replenishing!
Linsey was a beautiful bride, and Dustin was the dashing groom, and their wedding day was so amazing. A pine tree sapling with soil from Reno as well as Dustin's home in Ohio symbolized the combining of these two families into one. How perfect.
