Shannon & Robert's Sneak Peek

Robert and Shannon were boyfriend and girlfriends for the first time in third grade. They used to chase each other around the playgrounds of Westergard. They must have known then that they would be together forever because they decided at that time that Robert would have a son with Shannon named Robert Albert Petersen IV and Shannon would hyphenate her last name when they got married. But at the end of third grade Shannon and her family moved to Sparks and the couple was separated. Robert kept a picture of the two of them and always wondered if they would meet again. He saw her multiple times over the years, but was too scared to approach her as a young kid. Until one day, when they were both 19, Robert saw her at a party and decided to make his move. As Shannon walked by he asked her if it was her. A bit bewildered that this stranger knew her name, Shannon stopped and asked who he was. “Robert,” he explained, “I was your boyfriend in third grade!” At that moment Shannon remembered him and they began to chat. They exchanged phone numbers and went their separate ways. Robert decided at that moment he would not let Shannon walk out of his life again and called her the next day to invite her to a party at his house. Shannon agreed. Once at the party, Shannon was quite surprised that Robert paid her his full attention. He introduced her to all of his friends and stayed close by her the whole night. They began dating, and had their first kiss a week later. Seven years later the two got engaged on their front door step and are so pleased to be getting married on September 18, 2010 at Idlewild with all of their family and closest friends.
