Trisha & Jonathan

I always get super excited when the most popular warm-weather wedding season approaches. This year, thankfully, it will be a very full season. At this time, I can't help but reflect on the time of my own Spring wedding, some 32 years ago. I think of the thoughts that a bride and groom might have as they prepare to experience life together and create their very own special memories. What a glorious time!

Well, even though this weekend's Spring weather is a bit unpredictable, we are still in full-swing wedding motion. With an umbrella, scarf and a heavier coat packed into the car, we are off to the lovely little community of Virginia City. With any luck, the umbrella will remain in the car...unused!

No matter the weather, there could not be a more perfect time for Trisha and Jonathan to exchange their wedding vows in the same church as did Trisha's parents many years ago. With all preparations nearly completed, it will all be a beautiful reflection of the love that this great couple has for one another.

Update: The unique, Italian-inspired wedding and reception could not have been more perfect! Trisha glowed as her father dressed in his military best escorted her down the aisle. The wind subsided, and the century-old church held it's own. Jonathan and Trisha made their way to Piper's Opera House via a vintage ride, courtesy of the Cobb Mansion. Once all the guests had safely arrived to Pipers' it gently began to snow! It provided a beautiful backdrop for a few last minute photos, and after the reception, disappeared just as everyone headed down Geiger Grade, making their way home.

Trisha and Jonathan, it was such fun assisting you with your wedding! I so enjoyed working with your Mom in implementing all your wedding day dreams! May your honeymoon last forever!
xoxo
